The security appliances of the mGuard Field Line, developed and manufactured in Germany, combine the powerful mGuard hardware platform with proven mGuard firmware. Based on a hardened embedded Linux from Innominate, the mGuard firmware integrates three complementary security components: a bidirectional stateful firewall, a flexible NAT router and a highly secure VPN router. Due to its front-side configuration memory in the form of an exchangeable SD card, the new mGuard rs2000 3G can be quickly and easily put into operation, updated and exchanged.
