The RuggedCom WiN7200 is a wireless platform featuring mobile WiMAX broadband technology (IEEE 802.16e-2005). The platform is long range, secure and powered by OFDMA radio technology, which allows for non-line-of-sight operation. An optimal balance is ensured between efficiency and robustness, thanks to continuous adaption of leverage link algorithms, coding, and modulation to prevailing link conditions. The WiN7200 has a lightweight design that allows for it to be installed by a single person on walls, street lamps, poles, etc. Support up to 512 subscriber units is offered, as the platform can be operated in a mobile or fixed environment. Connection is enabled through a single Power-over-Ethernet connection. Maximum service coverage and bandwidth are maintained with the use of MMO radio technology, thus enabling peak link performance.
