Series OL6000 is engineered to provide highly dependable, high voltage power to ion and electron beam systems. The unit rises admirably to the challenging requirements of these systems. The unit is able to operate at high levels of 20kHz while remaining immune to the havoc caused by power surges and arcs at high voltage levels. It accomplishes this by harnessing the Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) technology. The converter is equipped with a one-of-a-kind non-dissipative snubber to prevent heating up the mains IGBTs. The system remains cool, thereby increasing durability, assured performance and working capacity. The constituents, integrated in the system, which generate high voltages, are driven by HiTek Powers patented DISC technology. The technology has excellent credentials and has been endorsed by years of unblemished delivery of outstanding results. This technology enables the converter to attain the twin peaks of superlative performance and high reliability. The system comprises two units, a converter, mounted on a 4U-7-19 rack and an HV unit, which multiplies high voltage.
