The AMETEK Western Research Model 919 is a hot/wet single gas analyzer. Due to government air pollution regulations, the allowable stack emission from many types of industrial facilities is restricted. A facility will often need to measure the emissions of a single pollutant that is emitted by their application and report the results. This analyzer is designed to monitor the pollutant of interest with accuracy by reliably measuring the pollutant in stack gas that is oftentimes hot, dirty, and saturated with moisture. When an optional zirconium oxide sensor is added, the 919 can monitor oxygen. The sample system components are heated above the sample gas’ dew point. All essential sample gas and calibration of flow management is performed by this unit. It has no moving parts, making maintenance an easy process. There is no CO2 or H2O interference. The accuracy is >2.5-ppm SO2.
