Spiral seal / high-temperature - THERMa-PUR Style 4122
The THERMa-PUR™ spiral wound gasket is designed to be used in extreme temperature and in aggressive chemical applications. Manufactured using a solvent-free process, it combines a unique formulation with Garlocks traditional quality. It has the capacity to withstand high temperature, whether in thermal cycling or in continuous conditions. Also, it has an optimum oxidation resistance which contains materials that can provide improved weight loss characteristics over other high temperature solutions. Furthermore, its proprietary formulation is resistant to a broad range of chemicals such as Titanium Tetrachloride and molton salts. It also resists water contamination and degradation in service conditions. Other features includes easy release from flanges which means that it does not stick to flanges making removal of gaskets easy.
