Rod seal / piston / double-acting - Turcon® CX(D)
The CX (D) by Turcon is a double-acting sealing system known for combining a machined elastomer energizer with a low friction sealing element by Turcon. The item has been manufactured to tight tolerances and achieves controller interference, exerting uniform and constant loading on the cap and providing constant positive sealing.These products have been tested and used in arduous aircraft applications as both piston and rod seals, but also in situations where long service life, minimal leakage and low friction are absolute requirements. Note that a full range of sizes is offered to fit all AS4716 and MIL-G-5514F grooves, and there are various custom designs that can be made available.
