Timken Light-Duty Seals has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the automotive bearing industry, and has used that knowledge to develop a series of light duty oil seals that are exclusively manufactured for Timken in some of the world's best manufacturing facilities. The Timken Line of Heavy-Duty Oil Seals are also referred to as grease, fluid and dirt seals. They are instrumental components of almost every type of vehicle. They are durable, and able to withstand extreme variances in temperature. They are not susceptible to poor operating conditions. They protect bearings, help to seal in fluids and lubricants, while at the same time providing a barrier between contaminates and various fluids. The seals are constructed with rubber ribs that encase an entire axle shoulder, sealing grooves and nicks. The running surface of the seals is also flexible, which allows the seals to move when necessary.
