Lock lever - COMBIDLOCK
The Iscar's Top Lever has been introduced to develop the clamping rigidity of the insert clamping system. Its construction merges the advantage of the new lever with additional clamping rigidity of the clamp procedure in which the lever shoves the insert from the pocket directly to the cutting force. This procedure fails occasionally in times of interrupted cut and weighty load applications that results the rear side of the insert to upsurge. The top clamp mechanism gives high clamping protection, however, it is inconvenient and it is taking up too much time on the other hand edge or insert indexing and the top clamp blocks the chip flow mostly in times of internal turning applications.
