Gas spring - -20 °C ... +80 °C (-4 °F ... +176 °F) | GS series

These ACE gas springs are ideal for industrial use and are self-contained and maintenance-free. Available with a body diameter range from .31" to 2.76" (8 to 70mm) and a force range from 2lbs to 2,923lbs, these springs offer a long service life.

The construction includes a piston rod with a wear-resistant coating and an integrated bearing with low friction and a grease chamber that enables it to provide a low breakaway force. They can be mounted in any type of orientation, although mounting with the rod downwards is the preferred orientation due to the built-in end position damping. There is a range of end fittings that can be used interchangeably to simplify installation and add versatility to the springs.

The force can be adjusted to suit specific needs thanks to the design of the valve.
