The APSO parts GERB D1 has a case constructed from lacquered cast iron. The PUR-sheathing of the steel spring-based sordino dumping is meant to prevent natural vibrations. The elements integrated in it have linear spring rates and very low natural frequencies. This spring assembly is ideal for oscillation insulation of all kinds of machines and machine systems. It is also tolerant to spray water.
The assembly requires removal of the threaded pins which block the ventilation drill holes, which must be done before start up. A slip-free installation even in the horizontal load-bearing position is made possible without the need to add anchoring bolts by using the two supplied mats of fabric construction.
The load capacity specified is meant for static load. All the elements meet specifications for dynamic forces and the frequency ratio. There are also special versions for multi-directional VISCO damping or without damping as well.
