The GERB spring assembly uses a PUR-sheathing of the steel spring based sordino damping in order to nullify natural oscillations and are well suited for the insulation of a variety of machines and systems, while being completely unaffected by spray water. Installation procedure involve the removal of threaded pins that block the ventilation drill holes, before start up. These units are provided with fabric construction mats that can prevent slipping of equipment even without the added anchoring bolts in cases where the equipment is exposed to horizontal forces. The specifications of these elements are based on the frequency ratio and dynamic forces with maximum load values that are valid only in static conditions. These models also include versions without damping as well as those with omni directional VISCO-damping.
