The Sumitomo Astero range of small gear motors and controllers offers users excellent efficiency and improved precision. Users have an optimum number of possible combinations and increased flexibility, and the devices can be connected to one another, or combined with a variety of motors with angled sections, output stages and intermediate gears. As these units use axially parallel involute geared drives, users can also rest assured that they will be getting very quiet operation and optimum productivity. This is a longlasting device that is ideal for OEM users, and is without plastic and bronze cylindrical gears. The power range is up to 90W, and the ball-bearing mounted motor and bevel-geared input stage make this device a 'whisper drive'.
