Stainless steel Advanced Line air motors are the number one choice when high hygiene requirements are in force and these devices are especially suitable for the food, medical, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The stainless steel fully sealed components are ATEX-compliant and can be sterilized, in addition to being steam-resistant and insensitive to cleaning agents. These devices are even operational when the motor has been submerged underwater and all air motors manufactured from stainless steel can operate without lubrication with only a minute amount of power loss, which is approximately 15%. Due the flexible modular system in these devices, there is a large range of possible variations at an extremely competitive cost-benefit ratio.
If the air motor is needed for an agitator or mixer, both of which have stringent hygiene requirements, it is possible to purchase them with stainless steel high-torque gearing which provides greater resistance to bacteria and cleaning agents.
