Piezoelectric actuator / linear / miniature - 250 mm/s, 1.2 N | ST series

There are two series of Johnson Electric Miniature Piezo Motors, the Nanomotion brand EDGE and the ST Series. The Nanomotion is the smallest industrial motor of its kind available for purchase on the market today. It provides unlimited linear or rotary motion.

The EDGE works with very specific and uniquely-designed compact ASIC-based drivers and can operate with any servo controller. It operates in a wide dynamic velocity range and has outstanding movement with very low power usage.

The ST Series provides a very high resolution motion control for linear or rotary devices in a fraction of the space of traditional mechanisms. It is suggested for small stepping as well as continuous travel and has the ability to make step increments in the tens of nanometers as well as operate at speeds of up to 250mm/sec. Offering unlimited travel and a wide dynamic velocity range, the ST Series is available in medium and low speed versions for high resolution purposes.
