Adept Motion Control offers superior motion-control performance enabling seamless integration and unmatched reliability. Straight-line motion and circular motion in three-dimensional Cartesian spaces can be achieved by programming Adept robots and custom machines with the Adept motion control system.

The Adept motion control system can auto-coordinate the drive of two motors through a split-axis drive feature, which is beneficial in large gantry robots and small linear motor-based robots with high speed and precision. The system can compensate for backlash in gear-driven mechanisms by automatically adding backlash distance to each and every move. Linear axes of the robots can be corrected for linearity errors through linear compensation.
