Cummins presents B Gas Plus is a 5.9-liter natural gas engine with six cylinders. The engine is based on the robust and dependable technology of Cummins diesel engines, especially the highly-respected Cummins B Series, which features among the all-time great engine designs. The engine delivers power in the range of 195 to 230 hp. The B Gas Plus is suitable for buses, local pickup, shuttles, delivery trucks, yard spotters, street sweepers, step vans as well as other medium-duty equipment.

The Cummins Westport B Gas Plus engine delivers extremely low emissions and is highly reliable. It includes DBW (drive-by-wire) and improved controls with complete electronics. In addition it provides high torque, excellent fuel savings, unrivalled output, and exceptional ratings for truck as well as bus applications.

Over 4,000 Westport B Gas Plus engines have been sold globally. The design allows operation on compressed (CNG) or liquefied (LNG) natural gas.
