Compared to competitive engines, the Cummins is 150 kg lighter but has a strong acceleration and lower operating costs. It has roller cam followers and an enhanced camshaft that is capable of maintaining its quality. Cummins ISLe boasts premium engineering to support the overhaul durability goal of 850,000km, electronic protection for it to continually send data back to the ECM for self diagnosis, CCV for it to recycle blow by gases, and REPTO that is suitable for applications like in cement mixers.
