The M80 model is a brushless motor that has a nominal operating life of up to 3,000 hours. The unit consists of a DC permanent magnet motor, and graphite-copper brushes. The motor is housed in a zinc- and chrome-plated enclosure. It has an ambient axial shaft load lesser than or equal to 180 N, and an ambient shaft load lesser than or equal to 350 N.
