Dunkermotoren Ametek Controllers BGE42/ BGE3004 have speed control with pulse width modulation (PWM). The speed is set using an essential potentiometer. 2 connection leads can be used to supply a a clockwise/counter-clockwise and a start/stop function. The BGE 42 has an optional fifth connection lead that can supply an external target voltage for setting the speed.By supplying an analog target voltage in the range 0...+10 V, the speed of rotation can be set in a range from 500 rpm to 5000 rpm with lower speeds, down to ca. 200 rpm, are achievable when less smooth rotation is tolerable.
There are a number of protection functions, like stall protection, reverse-polarity protection, low-voltage cut-off, over-temperature cut-off, and guarantees high operational dependability.
