These ABB retrofit solutions are intended to provide simple and easy modernization of the existing DC drives such as ABB's Tyrak, Veritron and Sele as well as DC drives from other manufacturers. These solutions include three different options. The DCS800-E Panel Solution represents a simple and user-friendly upgrade option for old DC-Drives up to 450 A. It is very easy to install as it comes with pre-mounted, fully wired and tested components and offers considerable time saving on down-times during retrofits. The DCS800-R Rebuild Kit represents a simple option for the exchange of drive electronic boards while keeping the existing power stack in tact. The final option is the complete DCR package for use with Tyrak 8, Veritron SZAD and similar DC drives. It offers the most cost-effective upgrade solution available.
