A frequency signal is processed at the input with these highly functional pulse evaluation units. 3-wire sensors or NAMUR can be connected, depending on the version. A lead short-circuit or lead breakage on the signal cables can be signalled by a lead fault monitoring system.The adjustment of device functions can be made simpler on devices which benefit from having a self-explanatory menu presentation on a graphics display. A number of units are able to incorporate the setting and display of measured values. The setting can also occur using a PC on devices which have a programming socket on the front of the unit.
