The WEG CFW-08 VSD is easy to install and operate. It comes with state-of-the-art software that can be set up through the keypad. The software allows the user to control the processes in many types of industrial machines.
The CFW-08 Plus comes with a dead time compensation technique. This avoids instability in the motor and provides an increase of torque at lower speeds. It can be used in the following devices: centrifugal pumps, fans/exhausts, process pumps, mixers, extruding machines, conveyors, roller tables, pelletizing machines, granulators, dryers, rotating ovens, rotating filters, unwinding machines, cutting and welding machines and winders. The power range is 0,25 to 15kW and voltage is 200-240V, 380-480V, 500-600V - DSP.

It has a minimum speed adjustment potentiometer, DC injection braking, output voltage doubling, isolated front end and manual or automatic restart upon the restoration of power. The NEMA 4X enclosure is easily mounted, compact and made of black plastic. The isolated inputs can accommodate grounded or floating signals 0-10 VDC, 0-5 VDC or 4-20 VDC. The calibration pots are user adjustable in terms of maximum and minimum speed, deceleration, acceleration, current limit, boost, slip compensation, sero set, brake time and brake current. The diagnostic LED displays power, torque limit and fault. It has stopping modes for DC injection braking or coast. The switching frequency is adjustable 4 to 16 kHz. The motor has less electrical noise and quiet operation. The quick disconnect terminal block allows 200% maximum torque to handle intermittent peak loads.
