The device features torsional stiffness of 27 Nm / Arcmin and a backlash that is less than or equal to 11 Arcmin (at 1 stage). Its rated output torque Tn is 285 Nm and the maximum possible output torque Tp is Tn X 3 Nm. It makes use of a straight gear rather than the traditional helical gear to obtain high rigidity, high torque and better efficiency. It also uses the procedure of pre-run for meshing gears inside and making precise backlash. The devices outer shell is made of aluminum. This allows for easy release of heat, making it suitable for many applications.
