Pneumatically-operated clamping device - max. 800 Nm, 4 bar
The ACE LOCKED SERIES Type L extension units are designed to enable pneumatic clamping adjacent to the precision rail. The units are identical for all standard rail manufacturers. The side mounting at the carriage minimizes mounting space. The systems provide a cost effective alternative in comparison to other systems and offers up to 800 N of medium clamping forces. The unit is equipped with a spring-brake actuator to assure safe and secure clamping even during power failures. The clamping element finds also application for rails with a measuring system.
