The VULKAN MESLU clutch is a friction clutch that has been developed for dry running. It is pneumatically operated, and produces no axial load when either engaged or disengaged. it offers optimal shifting, and excellent heat radiating capacity. The double cone automatic adjustment accommodates gradual wear. The unit has no internal friction surfaces which drastically reduces damage and wear. The unit is equipped with a lining that has been developed from high performance friction material containing an asbestos free synthetic resin. Friction linings will eventually wear down. The actual clutches are asbestos free, and wear resistant. They guarantee many years of maintenance free operation, even with frequent shifting.

The KTR-SI with ROTEX (by KTR) features a protective coupling with up to 8.200 Nm, a shaft-to-shaft connectivity capability, three different designs (synchronous, fail, safe, as well as ratchet), a compatibility with the torsionally flexible ROTEX coupling, and an axial plugging funcitonality. In addition, the KTR-SI is also equipped with the most advanced calculation and simulation applications. This is for pinpoint accuracy in measuring the actual precise dimensions of torque limiters.
