The unit is manufactured by Vulkan, and is a electro-hydraulic drum brake that has a layout which complies to DIN 15435 norms. There is an option to integrate the unit with different kinds of systems such as a rapid brake linings changing system, and a selg-adjustment system which simplifies servicing. It can also be equipped with a hand unblocking lever.
