AquaMaKKTM clutches are designed for heavy-duty continuous-slip applications such as in oil and gas, metal processing and forming, and marine industries, where accurate torque control is required to ensure constant tension.
The ingenious design of AquaMaKK comprises alternating layer of copper wear plates and water jackets. The clutch can be actuated using pneumatic, hydraulic, or spring lever, based on the requirement. The copper affords easy heat dissipation and the water jacket ensures effective cooling.

The DC series are made up of mechanical devices that engage and disengage the power transmission, especially from driving shaft to driven shaft. Clutches are used whenever the transmission of power or motion must be controlled either in amount or over time. The DC and DCV are compressing drum clutches and brakes that can be found in different industry applications. Its is used for general power transmission, and other duties.

The DC series is built using an essential rim and tube actuator. It has low inertia and high misalignment capacities. It offers a simple solution to less arduous clutch and brake requirements.

The Wichtia Air-Tube Disc Clutch incorporates the best features of the disc type clutch and benefits of direct air engagement. It uses the most effective way in order to apply air pressure, operating through direct axial pressure application by compressed air in a soecial composition full-circle tube, providing smooth operation with no activation noise, shock or impact, with full release in under a second. This efficient operation is owed to the small volume of needed air. The clutches are also capable of moderate slip, providing improved acceleration control. This operation enables easier handling of large inertia loads, when using electric motors, as it keeps power needs below allowed maximum, via smooth and accurately controlled slip starts. In order to maintain reliable operation during controlled slipping and high cycle rate operation, these unit feature centrifugal blower design, allowing fast an reliable heat dissipation. These low and very low inertia units, offer full freedom from centrifugal force and self energization effects.
