The MP series is a line of electromagnetic clutches or brakes manufactured by Ogura. This tool offers no adjustment for wear, with its special armature and hub design. It features a no-gap armature design that produces consistent time-to-speed and time-to-stop over the unit. This armature design also enables rapid response time of the series. This unit is provided with fins on the outer housing that offers total heat transport for optimum cooling. It may be provided with optional friction materials, like ceramics, to enhance cycle life.
