The AMU-C Electromagnetic Clutch/Brake offers a zero backlash feature that can be minimized by mounting the armature to the hub via leaf springs. The product also has four bearings that can provide a quality overhung load capacity. Moreover, it can provide a faster response and high performance due to the elimination of its splines. This can be done by overcoming the friction produced in the armature and in the hub.
