Disc brake / spring / pneumatic release control - max. 6.4 kN | MR series

The MR Series of Spring-Applied Pneumatic-Release Disc Brake, manufactured by Twiflex, is specifically designed as disc brake caliper. This device is configured with discs of 12.7 mm or 25.4 mm thick. The minimum disc diameter for the MR2 is available in 460 mm dimension. A single or dual calipers are commonly used per disc but the number can be increased based on disc size.

Moreover, the provided brake can be positioned at any angle around the periphery of the disc but ideally be mounted horizontally. This product is suitable for pneumatic operation use dry, filtered and non-lubricated compressed air.

The provided pneumatic brake required a control valve, worked either manually or by pneumatic or electrical signal. This brake can also generate with a maximum of 6.4 kN.
