One of the newest additions of flange-mounted, spring-engaged safety breaks that allows for high thermal capacity is the new FMBS array for NEMA C-Face motors and gear reducers, which meet stringent high cycle palletizing material handling functions.With continuous thermal dissipation, the brakes are able to stop more kinetic energy without overheating. They are available in two models that provide an exemplary torque from 1,080in-lbs to 1,800in-lbs and burnished torque from 1,300in-lbs to 2,160in-lbs, with release pressures of 55psi and 90psi and a maximum pressure of 120psi. Both models feature a top speed of 1,800rpm and zero backlash input.
