The SB 22 is specially-designed to be positioned on a vertically-installed set of motors and gearboxes. This features a thruster disc brake on a horizontally-arranged brake discs. With the combined connection flange and cover, a good solution to the customary motor-integrated brakes can be constructed. Its brake is specifically equipped with all the features such as an optional sintered lining.
