Caliper disc brake / hydraulic clamping / release spring - max. 55 kN | KTR-STOP® series
The brake calliper S-A-F is designed with a floating calliper brake where the brake disk is fully free from axial forces. The drive train remains unaffected even during any misadjustment or a faulty installation. The bearing of the calliper is realized between springs for reason of supporting so that the brake disk is not blocked by the brake calliper to prevent the exclusion of a thermal overload. A bearing of the pistons in guide rings and the option the option to wear off the linings ensures long maintenance intervals and optimized operating expenses. Short reaction periods offers short distance between brake pad and brake disc and low oil volume. The big pad surface results in small surface pressure, low wear of pads and low temperature. The brake is suitable for operation in rough conditions and the brake pads can be easily replaced. The brake is composed of few mobile components to ease maintenance process.
