Manufactured by NSK, the X1 sealing concept is a reliable sealing concept with an enhanced seal performance and minimized friction used for ball screws. The X1 sealing concept is divided into two parts - the inner and the outer. The inner part provides the elimination of lubricant escape and the outer part provides protection against nut body contaminants. The key features of the X1 sealing concept include a 32x enhanced seal that provides protection against unwanted contaminants, grease retention that provides 2/3 less grease discharge, minimized lubricant usage through its extended maintenance cycle, and lower temperature through its improved frictional resistance.
