High-performance spherical roller thrust bearing - TSR series
Spherical Roller Thrust Bearings are ideal for applications that has low friction and continuous roller alignment. They are designed in such a way that they achieve a high thrust capacity. These bearings are ideal for applications that experience heavy loads and face difficulties in establishing or maintaining the housing alignment/shaft detection. They are available in a size range of 110mm to 850 mm. They are designed with unique features that include - spherically contoured rollers and are arranged in steep angular position. They can easily accommodate high thrust loads for supporting moderate radial loads. For low friction bearing, it is designed with a unique bearing geometry and manufacturing technology. To compensate the shaft deflections and housing distortions that are caused by heavy loads, the bearings are designed with an internal self-aligning.
The inherent compensation of the TSR gives an opportunity for the equipment designers to use weldments for housing frames in place of complex castings. This eventually reduces the machine cost. The bore alignment is ideally less critical if the thrust bearings are specified.
