Cylindrical roller bearing - Nx, NUP series

Cylindrical roller bearing - Nx, NUP series
TIMKEN Europe Six types of single-row cylindrical bearings are available: N, NF, NU, NJ, NP and NUP.

As the most popular in the line-up, Timken's version of the industry-standard one-row cylindrical bearing NU (RIU, RU) has a separable inner ring along with the cage and roller complement being mounted to the outer ring. It does not have any thrust capacity. The N-type cylindrical bearing (RIN, RN) has 2 integral ribs on the inner ring which retain the cage and rollers. It does not have any thrust capacity.

Besides supporting heavy loads, the NJ-type bearing (RIJ, RJ) is able to carry light, unidirectional thrust loads which are up to 10 percent of the radial load. Two integral ribs on the outer ring and a single rib on the inner ring are included. The NF type bearings (RIF, RF) can also carry incidental thrust loads.
