Heavy-duty needle roller bearings are equipped with a ground channel-shaped outer ring along with a bunch of needle rollers retained and guided by a cage. An optimum load bearing capacity and a high shock resistance is offered by the thicker outer ring along with a considerably small radial cross section. Re-lubrication is performed with the help of a lubrication groove and hole in the O.D. As per the flexibility of the shaft in raceway surface, the bearing can be used with or without the ground inner ring.
