CFT AUTOMATION SYSTEM's SMC Cam slide is part of the Cam linear handling system for automation in several industries, changing a uniform rotary motion from a self-braking or asynchronous three-phase gear motor into a linear motion of the cam's carriage. The cam slides are suitable for use on two-/three-axes manipulators, clearing slides, or tilters.The SMC Cam features slides that are made of electro-welded steel in a steel carriage with recirculating balls rollers. The allow steel cam also has an induction hardened track with polyurethane protective bellows. The cam follower, as well as the radial and radio-axial bearings have long-term lubrication for easy maintenance. Lastly, the Worm gear motor (with orthogonal axis) comes with torque limiter.
The cam slides come in four standard sizes, with special orders available.
