Powered by DC motors, Physik Instruments' H-206 precision alignment system boasts of a 6-axis parallel-kinematic design in a compact and robust model. Its reliability and dynamic positioning with a stable pivot point and software-adjustable build enables user-friendly operation. The system involves Macro programming with an an open source LabVIEW driver set, work space simulation, and Virtual Hexapod machine software, allowing users to modify the system according to their needs.

The analog interface/photometer cards are available for visible light (F-206.VVU), or infrared light range (F-206.iiU) with F-206.NCU fast piezo nano-alignment system for nanometer accuracy. The H.206.F12 series also includes the C-887.21 compact 6d vector controller.And lastly, Research and industry is the required field of application

The multi-axis tilt platform allows optical components to be adjusted in many tilt and rotation forms. These are kinematic and use hardened and polished steel ball pivots with spherical-tipped adjustments for steel seats.

The Model 36 option has an elevation tilt adjustment feature and can be adjusted in rotation. This is to keep the mounting platform right at the kinematic pivot point. It works as a pointer and has components identical to micrometers with an azimuth adjustment.

The components that are mounted on the other side can be rotated in the same plane.

The HXP50 miniature hexapod is a parallel kinematic motion device that provides six degrees of freedom: X, Y, Z, pitch, roll, and yaw. Hexapods are well known as effective solutions for complex motion applications that demand high load capacity and accuracy in up to six independent axes. The HXP50 has a 50N centered load capacity and a 3N load capacity at any orientation. It is quite compact with a 200 mm diameter footprint and 151 mm height at the mid-Z position. Like all Newport hexapods, it comes with two coordinate systems that enables flexible manipulation of the sample or the tool as well as handles all coordinate transformations. It is also offered in a vacuum compatible version.

Micropositioner - MM-6

The MM-6 micropositioner is light weight, accurate, compact device designed to eliminate many research and design problems, especially in the case of space limitations. Hardened steel precision pre-loaded ball bearing slides and high resolution thumbscrew movement assure smooth motion, precision, and excellent load bearing capacity.
The black anodized aluminum body is made with a one-piece base and three piece construction. The top plate is designed around an M2 thread size on a 10mm square hole pattern and central M4 tapped hole. The MM-6 is available in single, double, or triple stages. Adding stages is an easy job and requires no special tools. Triple stages come with an angle bracket to attach the Z-axis. The travel of the stage is 0.26in (6.5mm) and the base is easily adapted to most surfaces.
