The DMF 360 linear unit is a reliable basis for heavy-duty roughing processes with its thermo-symmetric traveling column and machine bed. It also has use in five-axes machining applications and allows large travels of 900mm in the Z axis and 1,100mm in the Y-axis. There are various spindles such as the HSK 100 and SK 50 optionally available up with up to 413Nm and from 8,000-18,000rpm. The machine bed features mineral casting and high-precision design with a low mass center and a DMG ERGOnline Control function with 19 screens and Heidenhain iTNC350 or Siemens 840D solution-line. Additional features include a short chip-to-chip time and work area partition wall.
