The MAG1 represents a new 5-axis horizontal machining center by Makino. It features a unique combination of spindle and machine platform, capable of rapid and highly accurate contouring, allowing high-speed operation in conjunction with minimum downtime, for maximum productivity. This selection of features makes it ideal for use in aerospace industry for the manufacturing of compact aluminum components, such as leading and trailing edges and ribs. It is equipped with a versatile MMC system, that allows extensions for automatic pallet transfer and storage in order to enable high degrees of automation.
