The TNL18P is a sliding headshock automatic lathe, capable of parallel machining with up to 3 tools, that represents a highly compact design with small footprint and very simple maintenance procedures. It was designed with a large working area for long axis travels and uses NC rotary axis for turret indexing in addition to the 3-axis counter spindle grasping and easy change-over for turning that can be done with or without the guide bush. Additionally, this unit offers good flexibility as it features a large tool capacity (fixed and driven) by using double and triple holders, and is also equipped with a new TX8i-p production control interface.
