KNUTH presents LineaLunga 25D swiss-type CNC lathe. This automatic lathe features headstock and counter spindle. It features turning, drilling and driven tools for effective complete machining. Meehanite HAT 300 is used for making the machine bed. The high precision machined bed has undergone heat treatment and rigid quality checks.LineaLunga 25D includes high performance bearings and linear guides, which are made in Japan. This ensures high precision and excellent resistance to wear. Precision bearings are included in the top-performing preloaded ball screws. This results in a consistent, uniform and a vibration-free operation.
LineaLunga 25D includes high-torque servo motors made by reputed manufacturers. These provide optimum feed and rapid feed dynamics on all axes. Complex components can be produced thanks to the 5-axis machining with headstock spindle, counter spindle, and featuring one C-axis. By quickly adapting to present market conditions, it provides a good price/performance ratio.
The lathe has a time-tested design, that requires minimal maintenance and ease-of-handling. Space savings are provided by the optimum axis travel distribution. Appropriate tool temperature is maintained by the power coolant system, resulting in a long tool life.
