The J5 features an optimum spindle based on the application. The HSK-A100 is a standard spindle with maximum torque of 488N-m. The HSK-A63 is a high acceleration spindle with a maximum torque of 120N-m. The HSK-A63 is a high power spindle with a maximum torque of 201N-m.

The machine offers compact floor space with a size of 1800mm to 4420mm (including the coolant tank), being 38% less than the previous model (HSK-A100). Cutting chips are prevented from entering the spindle, with a convenient chip disposal mechanism.
