The MULTUS B product series manufactured by Okuma is composed of general purpose multi-function machines that come with latches designed to reduce setup time by the elimination of repetitive fixturing. Next, accuracy is improved and the non-cutting time is kept to a minimum. Note that the package also includes the first Collision Avoidance System software in the industry, which ensures even higher accuracy, even for complex applications, when used in combination with the OSP Control system by Okuma. Finally, if users opt for the W version, they will benefit from milling and turning operations that do not change the part being handed from one spindle to the other, because of the special design of the sub-spindle.
