Equipment The control unit is situated in an air-conditioned control cabinet on casters with a height of 1600 mm. A maximum of 4 GSE-K units can be actuated from a single cabinet. Operation via a coloured 5,7" Touch Panel. Actuation possibility for optional lubrication of thread for- mer. The unit is also equipped with a standard cooling unit which is sufficient for 2 GSE-K units and installed on one side of the control cabinet. Function A multiple spline shaft slides inside the sleeve shaft of the servomotor which executes the working stroke. During the advance movement the multiple spline shaft is pressurized with compressed air. Pressure can be chosen between 3 to 6 bar. The return movement of the multiple spline shaft is created by a vacuum. The multiple spline shaft is equipped with a chuck for a tap. Input of all values like diameter, stroke, material etc. via control unit.
