The lever material is sheet metal and axial bolts are of stainless steel. The levers have galvanised surface finish with the ratchet-pneumatic cylinder is double acting and anodized. the clams are galvanized, passivated which are hardened, galvanised with passivated press on bolts and protective cap. The pneumatic clams have lot of advantages like the operator gets relief of regular clamping against usage of hand clamps. Many clamps can be operated together and also in sequence. A hand control or machine control is used to operate single or multiple clamps. Due to the knee operated lever system, the clamp is always closed if the air supply is cutoff. Also the consumption of compressed air is low due to large end transfer. The clamping arm achieves a large travel due to pivoting. Due to the knee operated lever, an optimum force and movement ratios are attained. VL is compressed air consumption per complete cycle in dm3 at 6 bar.
