The AX series is manufactured by Eclipse-Magnetics, and is a premier rectangular chuck that has a top plate made in metal, which assure precision and maximum coolant resistance. It has an extra thick metal to maintain precision and provide the chuck a long service life, even after frequent regrinding. The unit can be partly magnetized to permit ease of part positioning when setting up, which the handle is ergonomically intended for easy switching. It has side and end stops that are chrome plated for maximum datum precision.
