Otto Suhner AG These quill feed units are made by SUHNER for over half a century that lead to the standardization of 4 basic types of machining units based on a modular component concept with common spindle housing, drive elements, quill and spindle, etc. All types of spindle motion profiles can be performed by the mechanical feed version BEA 25 CNC with digital drive technology. It has a drilling capacity with a max dia of 25mm.

This is suitable for carbide drilling and tapping tools including special purpose tooling. It is designed to accommodate high speed and feed rates. There is a preloaded ball screw and nut assembly for accurate spindle positioning. For extended service life, Chrome plated quill and honed spindle housing is provided.

There is a rigid cast housing with integrated base plate. The spindle can speed up to 10 000 RPM with optional frequency inverter. It is designed for multiple spindle head application.
An integrated 4-point clamping set form C for manual tool clamping is included in BEA 25 CNC with HSK spindle.
