The variable spindle speeds can be programmed with the use of a frequency inverter for three basic speed ranges: 200–1200, 200–2400, 200–4670 RPM. These can also be adjusted with the use of interchangeable timing belt pulleys and timing belts. There is a chrome-plated quill and honed spindle housing available for prolonged service life.
The unit, along with the HSK40 spindle has a 4-point clamping set form C that is used for manual tool clamping.
